SADD The Reaper walks again
The L’Anse Creuse High School SADD (Students Against Destructive Decisions) organization is doing Grim Reaper Feb. 11 to bring awareness to the dangers of driving impaired. The Reaper will be going to classes and "tagging" students that have died in accidents from impaired driving. The students who become the "walking dead" then spend the rest of the day not talking, making eye contact or acting in any way that would make them human. There will be a bell rung every 30 minutes to signify another death related to impaired driving. "We do this every year," said Suki Vandermass, SADD sponsor. The "walking dead” will be easily recognized because they will be dressed in black and have a cross on the cheek. Some may also have signs that say, "I am just a memory," or a death certificate or something else indicating how and when they died. L’Anse Creuse High School is located at 38495 L’Anse Creuse Road. For more information, contact Vandermass at vandesu@lc-ps.org.
