HS Teacher is one of Macomb County's 50 Most Outstanding Volunteer
Lesley Argiri, a biology teacher at L’Anse Creuse High School, is one of Macomb County’s 50 most outstanding volunteers of the year. Argiri was nominated by Principal Patrick Mulcahy and Community Service-Learning Coordinator, Ann Hart, for her efforts in running the annual Save the Manatee 5K Run for the past five years. Argiri’s efforts have generated over $17,500 to the Save the Manatee Club in Maitland, Fla. Argiri will be recognized at an invitation-only event April 23 at the Macomb County Administration Building in Mount Clemens.
