Welcome to Mrs. Melinda Graff’s Classroom

     This is my eighth year of teaching third grade.  I have been at Higgins for twelve years, working as a paraprofessional and substitute teacher for the first three years.  I have my master’s degree in teaching.

     My husband and I have three daughters.  Our two oldest daughters go to Oakland University, and our youngest daughter attends Macomb Community College.

     I was born and raised in Terre Haute, Indiana, where my family still lives, and lived in Bemidji, Minnesota for four years after we were married.  My husband was transferred here twenty one years ago.

     Third grade is a big adjustment for your child and with the support from home and myself; we will make this year fun, challenging, and enjoyable.
