Welcome to Mrs. Melinda Graff’s Classroom

     This is my twelvth year of teaching third grade.  I have been at Higgins for fifteen years, working as a paraprofessional and substitute teacher for the first three years.  I have my master’s degree in teaching.

     My husband and I have three daughters.  Our oldest  graduated from Oakland University in teaching,our middle daughter is doing her doctorate in Physical Therapy at Oakland University and just got married August 13th, and our youngest daughter attends Macomb Community College.

     I was born and raised in Terre Haute, Indiana, where my family still lives, and lived in Bemidji, Minnesota for four years after we were married.  My husband was transferred here twenty four years ago.

     Third grade is a big adjustment for your child and with the support from home and myself; we will make this year fun, challenging, and enjoyable.
