Many Ways to Practice and Learn

Word Wall Words

*Games, like bingo, Memory, Upwords, Scrabble, etc.

*Writing the words in salt, sand or shaving cream (with your finger), using chalk, markers, gel pens; typing the words on a computer; painting the words on MS Paint

*Building the words with Legos, blocks, craft sticks, magnetic letters, on a Lite Brite screen with pegs, or with Play Dough

*Do a word wall word search when reading familiar books or other print, such as newspapers, magazines, Internet, etc.

*Write a sentence for each word wall word.

*Rainbow words: Write each word wall word with every color of the rainbow, in the shape of a rainbow. Say the word each time you write it.
