Welcome

 

We have three music teachers here at Higgins this year.  Mrs. Bradshaw, Mrs. Comerford and Mrs. Treece would like to welcome you to our Music Room's Website.  We are really excited about this web site and hope you enjoy it!  Below we have outlined each of the areas under the Music channel, so you know where to find what you are looking for.

  

The Music Room

  

   This area includes several links to music related sites designed for students.  There are lots of cool games and interesting activities for children.  

 

Music Curriculum and Assessment

 

    This page provides a brief overview of our goals and provides you with a link to each grade level's specific music curriculum.  You can also view our NEW REPORT CARD here.

   

Performance Groups

 

   This area provides information on fourth and fifth grade choirs, and the John Armstrong Performing Arts Center  Information includes permission slips and performance schedules.  In the future I hope to post pictures of past performances and possibly even sound clips. 

 

Recorder Information   

 

    This area provides students and parents with information regarding the recorder program.  You can also print your own order forms and see the list of songs that we assess for recorder karate belts.
