In these tough economic times, many families are facing or have experienced the loss of jobs, health care, and other necessary supports. We have a “Community Help” page with a list of agencies for families to contact if they are feeling the effects of this economic crisis.

NSURANCE ASSISTANCE
The State of Michigan offers low-cost or no-cost insurance programs for Michigan families who qualify. Information on MIChild and Healthy Kids health insurance programs is available online at http://www.michigan.gov/mdch (click on Health Care Coverage>Children & Teens). LYERS ON THE WEB
The board of education approved that flyers will be posted on the Web site only and will no longer allow outside, non-profit groups to distribute flyers that go home with students. You can find out about opportunities in our community at the following link:
/Community/CommEvents/.
In order to have a flyer posted on our Web site, outside groups will still need to submit a request for approval to Shirley Flisnik at flisnsh@lc-ps.org.
