Kenn Nesbitt's poetry playground features poems, games, contests, lessons, audio and a rhyming dictionary. Students will also enjoy playing poetry inspired games!
Scholastic Poetry (2-5)
Students have the opportunity to take part in several online workshops with three popular poets. In addition, students can also create and print their own poems using the interactive Poetry Idea Engine!

This author of "Where the Sidewalk Ends," and numerous other children's poetry books has a highly interactive website students will love! This site also includes great ideas to help parents and teachers bring the art of poetry alive!

This website by Kevin Kammeraad allows students to not only listen read his poetry, but, listen to his poetry in song form. In addition, this website has a games section students are sure to enjoy!
Wizards and Pigs Poetry Game (1-5)
This highly interactive game guides students through a castle as they answer questions about the difference between rhyme, rhythm, and alliteration. In order to progress to the next level, students must correctly identify various elements of poetry. An excellent game students can utilize independently!
