Index of Myths (3-5)

This online collection of myths is geared towards students in grades 3-5.  Several of these online stories provide assessment questions and further activities.

 

Myth Mania (3-5)

Myth Mania, home of the Myth Man, is a fun, interactive website for students to learn about mythology.  This site includes homework help for mythology related work, an interactive quiz, a myth of the month link, a myth library and several other useful links. 

 

Mythweb (3-5)

Mythweb provides a place for students to research the heroes and monsters of mythology.  In addition to its kid friendly layout, Mythweb also provides an encyclopedia of Greek Mythology.

 

Scholastic Mythology (3-5)

Scholastic offers this kid-centered site about myths, making use of interactive timelines, maps and writer's workshops to make classic genres come alive for kids.  In addition, myths from around the world, interviews with myth writers and an interactive myth brainstorming machine can be found on the site.   A teachers' guide is also included.
