Michigan's Lumberjack Visits Green

Green Elementary School third-grade students studied Michigan’s history and will be visited by Sheepshank Sam, Michigan’s Lumberjack, April 24 from 1:30-3:30 p.m. as a culminating activity.  The assembly will teach students about being a lumberjack in Michigan, and we will conclude this fun day with a project and a lumberjack treat, said Maja Martinez, 3/4 multiage teacher.  The Parent-Teacher Club funded this project.  Green Elementary School is located at 47260 Sugarbush Road. For more information, contact Martinez at 586-493-5280 or at martima@lc-ps.org.
