Homework

  • Read books from blue book pouch on a nightly basis.  If your child reads 20 books for the month they will receive a coupon for a free pizza at Pizza Hut.
  • Listen to a story that your parent reads to you.
  • Practice spelling the spelling words.
  • Practice reading and making word family words.  Example "at" cat, hat, fat...
  • Play math games that come home in the blue pouches.  You may keep these games for two days.  You may also visit the emgames.com site.  These games help reinforce concepts that your child is learning in school.
  • Practice addition/subtraction facts using the Fact Family Triangles.  Your child needs to be able to instantly recall these facts.
  • Math homelinks come home on a nightly basis unless your child has an end of the unit review.
