About Miss Closs

This is my seventh year teaching at Graham Elementary.  I have taught first through 3rd grade in previous years.  I have undergraduate degrees in history and elementary education from Michigan State University.  I earned my Master’s degree in literacy education from Michigan State University in 2007.

I am originally from the Lansing area, but dreamed of living in the Detroit area since I was young because there is so much to see and do!  During my free time, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, going up north, reading, traveling, and playing and watching sports. 

My family include my mom who was an elementary school librarian, my dad who is a professor at MSU, my sister who is a veterinarian, and all of our animals (3 cats and 1 dog amongst all of us, only my cat Britain lives with me).
