INQUIRY PAGE

     Each month students are asked to form a question that they wonder about or would like to research.  At the end of the month students then present their findings.

     This is more than just an assigned research project.  This project is something that the students wonder about and would like to investigate more.  We work on this for a month.  Students should show that they have gained knowledge about the question and related items.

Research needs to be more than printing information off of a website and calling it quits.  Internet could be one form, interviews, videos, guest speakers, various books or magazines are other research options.  Remember, we work on this for 30 days research should reflect this.

Presenting the information should be more than reading a computer print out.  There are almost no boundaries on how to present the information.  USE YOUR IMAGINATION!  Students can use video, PowerPoint, posters, diorama's, guest speakers, recordings, activities, hands on examples, games, plays, etc.
