Mr. Craig David
I am in my 8th year of teaching fifth grade at Marie C. Graham. After completing my course work from Wayne State University in 2000, I did my student teaching at Graham. After I graduated I took a long term substituting position in the building. The following year I was hired full time to teach fifth grade. In 2007 I earned my masters degree in the Arts of Teaching from Marygrove.
For the past seven years I have been a guest speaker at Wayne State University and Oakland University discussing topics such as classroom management and inquiry based learning in my classroom.
My teaching philosophy is based around inquiry and brain based learning. My management philosophy is a combination of many including Tribes, and Love and Logic. I have attended several training sessions and lectures on Quantum teaching techniques as well.
In my 30 + years of walking the earth I have enjoyed playing soccer, basketball, and volleyball. I also enjoy fishing, especially ice fishing. My wife and I share a house in Fraser, where we have a wonderful.......DOG!
