Welcome to Third Grade!

Robyn Rivard
rivarro@lc-ps.org

Welcome students, parents and colleagues.  Thank you for visiting my site.  I have designed this site to keep you updated on what is going on in our third grade classroom.  Third grade is a time for students to begin working independently and assuming more responsibilities for their learning.  Third grade is such an exciting year to teach.  This is my eleventh year teaching at Chesterfield Elementary.  My first 6 years were in fifth grade and this is my fifth year teaching third grade.

I received a Bachelor Degree in 1997 from Wayne State University with a major in science.  In 2003, I received a Master's Degree in Reading and Language Arts from Oakland University.

I am married, have three children and a dog.  We live in Algonac and have a cottage in Northport.  We enjoy boating, traveling, skiing, snowmobiling and sports.
