Welcome to 3-4 Multiage!

     Welcome to the three/four multiage room. The multiage room holds about 40-50 students.  There are two teachers.  Myself, Mrs. Richardson, and Mrs. Ternes.  We have been teaching together for 8 years.  Previously, we taught the first /second grade multiage. 

    Mrs. Ternes and I have both graduated from Wayne State University with a Bachlor's Degree in education and a major in mathematics.  We both earned our Master's Degree from Saginaw Valley. I am planning on going back to school soon to earn an Education Specialist degree.  I feel a teacher has to continue education to keep-up with the times. I have been teaching at Chesterfield Elementary for 10 years and I love it!!!

I have three children of my own.  My oldest son graduated from Eastern Michigan last year.  He is a business major and is currently managing a chain of Wal Green stores in Ypsilanti.  My second son is in his third year at Central Michigan University.  He is also planning a career in the business world.  My daughter, Erika, is a Junior in High school and is planning on going to college to become a nurse.  

My husband and I have been married for 25 years!!  It is a wonder we have survived the teen years and beyond!

My passion is teaching and children.  I love children of all ages and feel this world would be better if we could all look at things through the eyes of a child!!
