All About me

     Thank you for checking out my web page!  I would like to take this opportunity to introduce myself to you.  My name is Peggy Devich and this is my 15 year teaching here at Chesterfield Elementary School. I have taught third grade for six years and I have taught second grade for nine years.  

     I received my teaching certificate from Oakland University in Rochester.  I also went to graduate school at Oakland University where I received my master's degree in Reading and Language Arts.

     I am married to an elementary school teacher and we have two wonderful sons. We also have two adorable dogs!


     I absolutely love to teach the younger students in lower elementary because I get to use my master's degree and teach kids to read!  It is a real thrill to watch the kids as reading starts to click for them!
