 WinClass

·        Creating Classes:  This document, created by the LCPS technology staff, provides information on how to create classes, using WinClass, a classroom file management tool.

·        Distributing/Collecting Files:  Created by the LCPS technology staff, this document explains how to distribute and collect files from your kids once you’ve created your class.

o       When distributing and collecting files in WinClass, it is important to note that you can only collect files that you have distributed to your students via WinClass.

§         To browse student files logged in as yourself, open the application (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Kidspiration, etc.) in which the file is saved.  Go to file and open.  In the box where the file name would usually show, type //0hdstu/INSERT STUDENT LOGON HERE$ and hit enter.  so, for example, you'd type:

//0hdstu/66532ryb$  This will take you directly to that student’s drive where you are able to browse and open their files.
