About Mrs. Coker
I've developed a love for educating children naturally through my parents who are now retired L'Anse Creuse educators. My mother taught first grade for thirty-three years. Seeing my mother's love and devotion for teaching has given me the desire and passion for educating young children as well.
I have a Bachelor of Science degree in elementary education and a Master of Arts degree in early childhood education from Saginaw Valley State University. Lifelong learning is important to me so I continue to take classes to keep abreast on current trends in early childhood. I have taught early childhood grades for 19 years.
On a personal note, I live in Washington Township with my husband, Chris. Together we enjoy participating in church activities, taking walks, and playing with our cat, Taz.
