Welcome to the homepage of Mr. Madeleine.
A little of information about myself. I graduated from L'anse Creuse High School North in 1994. From there I attended Macomb Community College for three years to get my undergraduate classes out of the way. I transferred to Western Michigan University, and graduated in the Spring of 2001, majoring in Physical Education, while minoring in Adapted Physical Education.
In the Spring of 2004 I graduated from Marygrove College in Detroit with my Masters in the Art of Teaching. This is currently my seventh year teaching in the district, as well as seventh year at Carkenord Elementary.
I believe the biggest inspiration I have had to work with kids came from my parents. My father was, and still is a principal at the elementary level in the Fraser Public School District. My mother is a school social worker in the Lake Shore Public School District, so it is safe to say that education was a main focus of attention in my home growing up. My younger sister is a teacher, as well as my wife who is in the Fraser District as a school social worker. I have been brought up to know nothing other than the importance of a quality education growing up, and for that I feel my family has been the biggest inspiration.
My newest inspiration was born on October 4th 2006. Jaxon Kenneth is truly a blessing for my wife and me.
