I, Angela Levinson, am a graduate of Michigan State University. I also have my Master’s Degree from Saginaw Valley State University. This will be my seventh year teaching at Carkenord Elementary. I am very excited and honored to be back at Carkenord for the 2008-2009 school year.
My teaching experiences have familiarized me with teaching diverse student populations; collaborating with parents and school staff members; creating, implementing, and evaluating behavior management programs; and utilizing assessments to individualize each student’s educational experience and to monitor his/her progress.
In order for your child to have a successful year of learning I feel that it is very important that we communicate often. To help your child with academics, attendance, attitude, and behavior we must work together.
- The last Friday of every month we will send home an individualized academic update that will contain information about reading, writing, math, and/or behavior. This needs to be signed by you and returned on Monday.
