Mrs. Carr's and Mrs. Hendley's

3/4 Multiage Classroom

Multiage education is a philosophy of teaching, based upon developmentally appropriate practices, where students of various ages, interests, and abilities work together in a mutual relationship.  The multiage approach is most similar to the old schoolhouse philosophy, where students of all ages and abilities worked in the same room and with the same teacher.  In keeping with this philosophy, the multiage student remains in the program for multiple years and enjoys more time to learn at his or her own pace.
