Hearts of Hope

Joseph M. Carkenord Elementary students are raising money to increase awareness of congenital heart defects through cookie sales Feb. 9 and 10.  The culinary arts students from the Frederick V. Pankow Center are baking the cookies for the fund-raiser.  Proceeds will be donated to Hearts of Hope and Mott Children’s Hospital.  Carkenord Elementary School is located at 27100 24 Mile Road.
