All About Me!  

I grew up in Sterling Heights, Michigan.  I attended Sterling Heights High School, where I was involved with track and cross country.  After graduation, I attended Oakland University, pursing my love for education.  I graduated with a Bachelors of Science in Language Arts and a Masters in Reading and Language Arts. 

I have been working at Atwood Elementary for eight years.  During this time, I have always taught fourth grade.  I have enjoyed working with the students and seeing their love for learning! 

My family consists of my parents, twin sister and thirteen year old brother.  Both my parents are teachers, which has helped me with my teaching career.  My twin sister is an accountant and loves coming in and visiting my class!  My brother is in eighth grade and is an awesome helper!  Lastly, I have just adopted a Great Dane, named Alex!  I am working hard on training him to be a good boy with manners.  My boyfriend, Keith also has two dogs named Molly and Bella.  The three of them love to play together.
