Jen Donovan

Third Grade
Atwood Elementary

Welcome to my website! 

I'm happy to be teaching third grade at Atwood.  I've been at Atwood for three years now and I love it!  My teaching career began at Middle School-Central where I taught sixth grade special education for many years.  

I earned a Bachelor's Degree from Western Michigan University and a Master's Degree in Reading and Language Arts from Oakland University. 

My husband and I have one son.  Drew is in Kindergarten here at Atwood and he loves it! 

When I'm not teaching, we enjoy weekends up at our cottage in Glennie, Michigan.  Autumn Saturdays are usually spent at the University of Michigan football games!  Go Blue!  I love to scrapbook, garden, and entertain friends and family. 

I am looking forward to having your child in my class.  I am passionate about teaching and truly love what I do.  I am so proud of my students and their accomplishments.  It is remarkable to see their growth at the end of each year.
