All About Senor Francis
I grew up in the small town of Dorr, Michigan, which is located about half way between Grand Rapids and Kalamazoo. As a child I loved summers outside, spending time with my family and playing baseball. The Fourth of July Celebration is Dorr is really something to see!
After completing my schooling at the elementary and junior high level, I attended Wayland Union High School in Wayland, Michigan. It was during my High School years that I developed a love for language and learning Spanish. I visited Spain for a month between my Freshman and Sophmore years and was a four year left handed pitcher for the Wildcats.
From 1995-2000 I attended Aquinas College in Grand Rapids, Michigan. I received a triple minor in Early Childhood Education, Reading and Bilingual Spanish. I also played on the Aquinas baseball team for two years and made several life-long friends along the way.
Nowdays I serve the Atwood Elementary Community as a Spanish Teacher. I truly enjoy working with the children each and everyday and hope that somehow in the process of learning they can catch a dream from me.
My days away from Atwood are spent with family and friends. I enjoy going to Tiger games and am a hugh Notre Dame Football fan. GO IRISH!!
