About Mr. Mette    

     As a graduate of Atwood Elementary, Middle School-North, and High School-North, I am proud to remain in L'Anse Creuse Public Schools as a teacher.       
     Currently, I am in my eighth year teaching at Atwood. My first year was spent teaching 4th grade, then I moved to my current position as a 5th grade teacher.
     After graduating from LCN in 1995, I spent one year at Michigan State Universtiy before transferring to Wayne State University, where I graduated in 2000. I then earned my Master's degree in physical eduation from Eastern Michigan Universtiy.    
     I currently live in Chesterfield Twp. with my wife, Michelle, and two children. Drew is 4 years old and Abby is a year and a half.
     In my spare time, I enjoy golfing, rooting for the Spartans, Wings, Pistons, Tigers, or Lions, and spending time with my family.
