Ann Marie Nayback

My name is Ann Marie Nayback, part of the second grade team at Atwood. I have a variety of teaching experiences ranging from Preschool Special education through Fifth grade and Regular education Kindergarten,  First and Second grade. Each year brings new energy to the room. I look forward to working with you and your family. The following will give you some general information about the room.

Parents are a major component of a child's success in school. I enjoy having parents in the room. If you are able to join the class I ask that you arrange a time with me to assure the flow of the class is not interrupted. If you have any special talents that would enrich the curriculum please arrange a time to come in and present your talent to the class. The students and  I always enjoy the new experiences.

Communication is very important. If you want to discuss something with me please send a note or email me at

Naybaan@lc-ps.org  with the issue. I will try to answer your questions and concerns within a day or two. If you would like to discuss something in length please arrange a meeting for before or after school.

Homework should be a short practice for the students. The student should be able to explain the assignment. If your child is unable to complete the task please write a brief note explaining your child's attempt. The notes will help direct the follow up lessons. Please make me aware of any problems your child encountered.
