Genot Picor, Storyteller Visits

Genot Picor, a storyteller, will visit Atwood Elementary School third-graders studying Michigan history and Native American tribes to share Songs and Stories of the Voyageur Nov. 1.  Picor portrays a French-Metis voyageur who was taken in by the Ojibwa People of the Great Lakes region and became part of their tribe.  Picor will present at 9 a.m., 10 a.m., 11:30 a.m. and 2:15 p.m. at Atwood Elementary School, which is located at 45690 North Avenue in Macomb.  For more information, please contact Ayesha Strait at straiay@lc-ps.org.
