Adult Education Opportunities


For Adult Learners: 20 Years and UP (As of Sept. 1 of 2005):Classes are FREE, However a $25 registration fee is required of new students.

  • Adult Learning Center: Self-paced instruction for the busy adult, seeking to improve his/her education and employment situation.
  • GED Preparation: The GED Preparation courses are designed to focus instruction towards passage of the national GED exam. Preparation is free and successful completion will result in a highly reduced testing fee offered through our new GED Testing Center.
  • Supplemental services for qualified candidates: The L’Anse Creuse/Mount Clemens Adult Education program works with a number of human service agencies to provide supplemental services designed to assist the learner complete his/her educational requirements. Contact 586-783-6420 and ask for K. Mentzer for qualification information.
    · Work readiness preparation: New career based programming is available to qualified individuals.

L’Anse Creuse Is NOW AN OFFICIAL GED TESTING CENTER

  • Cost for Exam (without GED preparation classes): $200.00 + $10 refundable seat fee
  • Cost for Exam (with GED preparation classes): $25.00
