About the L’Anse Creuse – Riverside/Adult Education Center

Students ages 14 and up are eligible for educational services that focuses on authentic learning experiences that provides academic connections to the real world of work and other post secondary opportunities. The L’Anse Creuse – Riverside/Adult Education Center welcomes students from all over Macomb County to register in one of the many fine programs listed to the left.

Points of Pride:

L'Anse Creuse Alternative Educaiton is the only alternative education in Macomb County who has earned an outcomes endorsement from the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools.  Our program meet or exceeded all 5 state negotiated benchmarks for student performance on the TABE test.  Our GED passing rate in 2007-2008 was 84%, 15% higher than the state average.  Among alternative education programs statewide, Riverside Academy had the third highest number of students take the Michigan Merit Exam in 2007.
