Welcome to Fresh Start

Fresh Start is a unique program designed specifically to meet the needs of 15 year olds.  Students learn through a combination of traditional instruction as well as project based learning. Before admittance to the program, students meet with an administrator and/or counselor to assess the needs of the particular student.  Students are placed in classes based on their needs and will "travel" with most of the same students throughout the year.

Classes include:  Physics, Algebra, English/Literature, Social Studies, Discovery and Group.  Fresh Start curriculum aligns with the Michigan Merit Curriculum taught in Michigan high schools but uses teaching methods that build on the student's strengths and specific learning styles.
