Parent Involvement Policy

Highlights of the policy:

The board policy was developed through a process involving parents and administrators. Below are highlights of this policy.

• Provide opportunities for families to participate in the education of their children through a variety of roles. In L'Anse Creuse, we welcome your participation in parent involvement activities from preschool through graduation.
• Provide opportunities to enhance parent's/guardian's capacity to work with children at home on school learning.
• Provide ongoing communication between school and parents/guardians.
• Provide professional development opportunities for teachers and staff to enhance their understanding of effective parent/guardian involvement strategies.
