School Readiness Program
Funded by the State of Michigan

This program is available for L’Anse Creuse children who meet two of the following criteria and are four by December 1, 2008:

• Single parent
• Low family income - free or reduced lunch eligibility
• Unreliable or unsteady income
• Family history of low school achievement or dropout
• Lack of stable support system of residence - frequent moves
• Family history of diagnosed family problems
• Long term or chronic illness
• Other conditions which could affect learning
