Bus Garage Operation

L’Anse Creuse Public Schools employs an excellent staff of mechanics to service our fleet. This is evidenced by the results of the annual State Police fleet inspection. Over the past eleven years, LCPS has earned an ‘excellent’ rating.


In addition to the 99 school buses maintained in our garage, the staff also maintains several other vehicles. There are several grounds, maintenance, warehouse and support staff vehicles that are also maintained. LCPS also provides service for Harrison Township dial-a-ride and Fire Department vehicles. Additionally, New Haven schools  contract their major repairs with our department
