- Great Start Readiness Program - Available for L'Anse Creuse children who meet specific criteria and are four by December 1st. Call 586.493.5220 ext. 1311 for more information.
- Head Start - A free preschool program provided by Macomb County for three and four year old children from income-eligible families. Call 586.469.5215 for more information.
- Preschool Classes - Classes designed for three and four year old children are held at Anna Mae Burdi Early Childhood Center in Chesterfield, the Childcare Center in Harrison Township, and select elementary schools. Families register in the spring for the following September for this tuition-based program. Click on the Preschool 2010-11 link to the left or call 586.493.5220 ext. 1310 for more information.
- The Learning Nook- This full-time experience is housed at Anna Mae Burdi Early Childhood Center in Chesterfield and the Childcare Center in Harrison Township. Children three to five years old participate in planned learning activities, lunch, rest and outdoor play. - Preschool and The Learning Nook Open House- Will be held February 24, 2010, from 5-7 p.m. to introduce our early childhood programs to families with young children. Call the Burdi Center at 586.493.5220, ext. 1310 or the Childcare Center at 586.783.6323 for more information.
- Before and/or After Preschool Program-An extended learning opportunity for preschoolers before and/or after their preschool classes. The program is a prelude to or an extension of one's preschool class with developmentally appropriate learning activities.
