Free Preschool

School Readiness Program
Funded by the State of Michigan

This program is available for L’Anse Creuse children who meet state-mandated criteria and are four by December 1st:

  • Low family income - free or reduced lunch eligibility
  • Family history of low school achievement or dropout
  • Family history of diagnosed family problems
  • Unreliable or unsteady income
  • Lack of stable support system of residence - frequent moves
  • Single parent
  • Long term or chronic illness
  • Other conditions which could affect learning
