K - 12 Technology Curriculum

Graduates of L'Anse Creuse Public Schools hold responsible positions in business, education, government and numerous other fields. Preparing the skills necessary for such success is carefully planned in every K-12 classroom. Curricula is presented in a "scope-and-sequence" manner so that advanced high school studies build on academic foundations laid in elementary and middle schools. That concept is just as important in technology as it is in mathematics, language arts and science. The L'Anse Creuse Public Schools K-12 Technology Curriculum was constructed over a period of two years by a team of twenty-five teachers, administrators and technical support personnel. The design includes national and state technology benchmarks, but is presented in a format that is "user friendly" to District teachers. Standards outlined in this document will be phased into instruction starting in the 2000 - 2001 school year. The document will also be revised, as needs and expertise of students and personnel deem necessary.
