Superintendent’s Message:
Residents of L’Anse Creuse Public Schools:
Life tends to be busy and so often we don’t take the time to step back, reflect, and celebrate accomplishments. We’re too busy checking things off the to do list and, after finishing one item, moving on to the next! The Annual Report, which is a requirement of the Michigan Department of Education, forces school districts to pause for just a little while and make note of the past year’s successes.
We are most fortunate in L’Anse Creuse Public Schools because we have much to be proud of and good reason to celebrate. The 2006-2007 school year was busy and productive; consequently, this Annual Report has many noteworthy accomplishments to present to our community. I encourage you to take a few moments to review and celebrate the successes of last year included in this report.
L’Anse Creuse Public Schools has a legacy of excellence. Throughout our 50+ years of existence, the district has earned the respect and recognition at the county, state and national level. A cornerstone to this success has been and remains the strong support and commitment of our community. Once again, on behalf of the students, staff and administration, thank you for your ongoing assistance, support, cooperation and encouragement. Thank you for another wonderful year in L'Anse Creuse Public Schools!
