Summer Technology Camp

June 23-27, 2008

Open to all current 3rd - 8th grade students.

Session Topics - 3rd through 5th grade:

  • Claymation
  • Digital Photography and Storytelling
  • Robotics

Session Topics - 6th through 8th grade:

  • Video Production
  • Digital Photography and Storytelling
  • Robotics

AM Session:  9:00 a.m. -11:00 a.m.
PM Session:  11:30 a.m. - 1:30 p.m.

$50 for one session
$85 for two sessions

Student showcase on final day of camp.

Note:  Students attending both an AM and PM session, should bring a sack lunch.

Claymation
Students will create an animated story using clay, a camera, and computer software.

Digital Photography and Storytelling:
Students will learn to take high-quality digital photos and incorporate them into a digital story.

Robotics:
Students will have a hands-on experience with engineering technology through the use of Lego robotics.

Video Production:
Students will learn the skills necessary to produce effective and entertaining video and audio broadcasts.
