April 2006 Board of Education Highlights

 The following bids were awarded from the 2005 Bond Issue:
1) Asbestos Abatement Bid, L’Anse Creuse High   School, L’Anse Creuse Middle School – North and Frederick V. Pankow Center

2) L’Anse Creuse High School Gym and Commons Addition

3) Sally Ports for Graham, Higgins, Carkenord and L’Anse Creuse Middle School - East

4) Frederick V. Pankow Center New Garage

Superintendent’s Report:

1) Resolution of Approval of the Macomb Intermediate School District’s General Fund Operating Budget for the Next Fiscal Year was approved.

2) Proposal for the 2006 District Summer School Programs was approved.

3) Principal position at L’Anse Creuse High School – North, moving Dave Jackson from Interim Principal to Principal was presented.
