Board Highlights

The following presentations were made:

L’Anse Creuse Early Childhood Center presentation from Anna Mae Burdi Center students and staff.

Student of the Month presentation were made for L’Anse Creuse/Mount Clemens Adult & Alternative Education, L’Anse Creuse High School, L’Anse Creuse High School - North and The Frederick V. Pankow Center.

The resolution to authorize the sale of 2008 school building and site bonds was approved.

Superintendent’s Report:
1) Proposal for the 2008 K-12 Summer School Programs was approved.
2) Resolution for Nomination for MASB/MSPRA Media Honor Roll Nominee was approved
3) Michigan Association of School Nurses-School Nurse Day, May 7, 2008 was approved.
4) Resolution of Approval of the proposed Macomb Intermediate School District’s General Fund Operating Budget for the Next Fiscal Year was approved.
5) Agreement with Temporary School Staff, Inc. -Personal Services Agreement was approved.
6) Request for approval of the Donald Hubler and Charles Eslinger to serve as Representatives on the L’Anse Creuse High School - North Student Commons and Kitchen Expansion Committee was approved.
